One person was killed and five people were injured in a three-car crash in Hunterdon County on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 22, authorities said. At 7:30 a.m., Franklin Township Police responded to a three-car crash at the intersection of Hogback Road, Route 617 and Lower Landsdown Road, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said. One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, three passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals, and two drivers were treated at the scene and released, authorities said. A truck collied with three passenger vehicles on Route 80 in Morris County on the morning of Monday, Aug. 19, authorities said. The crash occurred at 7:24 a.m. on Route 80 westbound in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township between a box truck and three passenger vehicles, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Multiple injuries were reported, though they were non-life-threatening, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

One person was injured in a three-car crash on Route 80 in Parsippany on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. At 11:52 a.m., troopers responded to Route 80 eastbound at mile 42 for the collision between three passenger vehicles, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
