Man's Leg Crushed By Commercial Chiller: Readington PD
A man was hospitalized after his leg was crushed by a commercial chiller in Readington on the late morning of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. At 11:28 a.m., officers responded to a business on Route 202 and found a 52-year-old man bleeding uncontrollably after his leg was crushed by a commercial chiller, Readington police said. Officers applied a tourniquet to control bleeding and he was transported to a a nearby trauma center for treatment, police said.

Two Teen ATV Riders Airlifted After Crossing Center Line In NJ Crash: Police
Two teenagers were airlifted with serious injuries in a North Jersey crash with an SUV on Tuesday, Oct. 8, police said. The 14-year-old and 15-year-old boys were in a Polaris Sportsman 850 heading north on Highlander Drive in West Milford, when they crossed the center line into the opposite lane of travel around 4 p.m., Lt. 2 Motorcyclists Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Route 80 Crash
A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. Newly-released bodycam footage shows the arrest of a 30-year-old woman who police say was under the influence when she crashed her car, which had been carrying a 16-year-old child in New Jersey. Man Airlifted After ATV Overturns In Warren County:

A 48-year-old Liberty man was seriously injured after his ATV overturned in Warren County on Sunday, Sept. 22, authorities said. At 4:54 p.m., a C-Force 600 all-terrain vehicle was traveling westbound on Danville Mountain Road in Liberty Township when it veered off the road to the left and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver was ejected and sustained serious injuries, Lebron said. He was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Teen Football Player Airlifted After Losing Feeling In Legs In Sussex County, Police Say
A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he was injured playing football on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 21, in Sussex County authorities said. At 8:11 p.m., the boy was playing football at Station Park in Sparta Township when he temporarily lost feeling in his legs, Sparta Township Police Captain Thomas Snyder said. An Atlantic Air helicopter transported the boy to Morristown Medical Center, Snyder said. The young athlete regained feeling in both legs before the helicopter arrived, but was still hospitalized for for further evaluation, Snyder said.

A 46-year-old Pennsylvania man was rescued after he fell 25 feet from the roof of a building in Fairfield, NJ on Friday, Sept. 20, authorities said (scroll for video). Two people were injured after a motorcycle struck a minivan on Route 206 in Sussex County on the evening of Monday, Sept. 2, authorities said. At 6:29 p.m., a Chrysler minivan was stopped in traffic, waiting to turn left on Route 206 north in Sandyston Township when it was struck in the back by a motorcycle, Charles Marcha, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the motorcycle and driver of the minivan were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

The New Jersey State Police Department has released video footage of an aerial rescue of a cliff-diver who suffered serious injuries in a West Milford accident. Police ID 16-Year-Old Dead In NJ Wreck
Police have identified the victim of a crash early Thursday, Aug. 22 in Hunterdon County as a 16-year-old girl. Sophia Detorres, of Franklin Township, was a passenger in a three-vehicle crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hogback Road and Lower Lansdown Road, the county prosecutor's office announced.
