Body Found in Hunterdon County River: Prosecutor A body was found in a river in Hunterdon County on Sunday, Oct. 27, authorities said. At 5:15 p.m., the Holland Township Police Department responded to a report of a body found in the Musconetcong River, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.. A fisherman reported finding the body in a shallow section of the river while fishing in the area, authorities said. The initial investigation indicated that the person had been deceased for several weeks prior to being located, authorities said.
