Tragedy In High Bridge: Crossing Guard Killed Remembered For Life Of Service Robert "Bob" Bork, a 79-year-old High Bridge crossing guard struck and killed by a car last week is being remembered for his dedication to helping others. Bork was hit by a southbound vehicle on County Road 513 at the intersection of Larrison Avenue last Wednesday, Nov. 28, according to the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. Bork was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, where he later died, officials said.  Good morning. High Bridge Crossing Guard Struck, Killed On-Duty: Prosecutor A High Bridge crossing guard and veteran firefighter was fatally struck by a vehicle while on duty Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. Robert "Bob" Bork, 75, was hit by a southbound vehicle on CR 513 at the intersection of Larrison Avenue around 12:10 p.m., according to the High Bridge Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. NJ Passenger Killed In Crash At PA State Line ID'd: Coroner A New Jersey man was killed in a Bucks County crash on Saturday, Oct. 19, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Michael Amend, 34, of High Bridge, NJ, was the passenger in a vehicle that struck a tree in the 800 block of River Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County at 1:08 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, the coroner's office said.
