Atlantic City's mayor and schools superintendent were indicted after being accused of physically and emotionally abusing the couple's teen daughter, authorities said. Atlantic City High School's principal was indicted after she was accused of covering up parental abuse claims by the daughter of the mayor and school superintendent, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 39-year-old Constance Days-Chapman of Atlantic City on Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A Mays Landing woman will spend more than half a decade in prison after admitting to killing her husband during an argument in their home on Christmas night, authorities said. Marylue Wigglesworth, 53, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 20 to six years in state prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Thursday, Aug. 22. Philadelphia police have released the mugshots of the man accused of killing a New Jersey actress and the two brothers charged with hindering apprehension in the case.
