NJ Trucker Dad Killed When Overturned Rig Lands On Him In PA Crash: State Police
A New Jersey truck driver was killed after he was thrown from his commercial vehicle and trapped beneath it during a crash in Pennsylvania, State Police said.
The crash happened at approximately 12:13 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, along the 4500 block of Chestnut Street north of Beck Road in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, according to Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.

Dateline NBC will be airing a one-hour episode titled "Slow Burn" about the 2018 murder of the Caneiro family in Colts Neck on Friday, July 17 at 10 p.m.
Paul Caneiro, an Ocean Township resident, was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences after being convicted of murdering his brother, his sister-in-law and their two children in their Colts Neck home.
In levying the sentence, Judge Marc Lemieux called Caneiro, a "callous, heartless, brutal killer."

A 99-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Monroe Township, authorities announced Thursday, July 16.
At 8:46 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, officers responded to Lake Avenue and North Black Hose Pike after a 2015 Honda CRV, driven by an 86-year-old Williamstown man, ran a red light and crashed into a 2019 white Mercedes Benz E450, Monroe Township police said.

A 40-year-old Leesburg man was arrested and charged after a man overdosed at a prison in Cumberland County, authorities announced Thursday, July 16.
On Wednesday, April 16, 2005, Ryan Marsh overdosed at Bayside State Prison in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said. Alfed Bishop gave a synthetic cannabinoid to Marsh in exchange for cash, Webb-McRae said. Marsh passed away after injecting the drug, Webb-McRae said.
