Meteorologists (Not Groundhog) Share Spring Forecast For Mid-Atlantic Region Winter is sticking around, no matter what Punxsutawney Phil prognosticates on Feb. 2, AccuWeather meteorologists say.  The middle of January is the halfway point in meteorological winter.
