Snake Farm: Startled Resident Finds 10-Foot Python Atop Mahwah Condo Trash Bin A Bergen County condo owner taking out the trash recently got a frightful scare: On top of the garbage bin was a 10-foot-long snake. The live but lethargic python had a fresh wound on its head. Its eyes were red and bloody. Police quickly found Derek McGuire, a former star track and field star turned bodybuilder who lives in the Mahwah complex. McGuire, 36, owns and operates an online business called “D-Rassic Park.” Run from his basement, it breeds and sells pythons, according to a police report. Army Corporal Hayden Harris Found Dead In Sussex County Woods, Fellow Soldier In Custody Missing U.S. Army soldier Hayden Harris was found dead with apparent gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in Sussex County -- his fellow soldier in custody, authorities said. The 20-year-old corporal's body was found by Byram Township firefighters, who noticed personal belongings including documents and shoes near a wooded cul-de-sac near Ross Road Saturday afternoon, Sussex County First Assistant Prosecutor Gregory Mueller said.
