A pair of fugitives from Cumberland County have been arrested by U.S. Marshals for an armed robbery at a Dollar General store in Vineland, authorities said. One of the suspects resisted arrest and attempted to disarm an officer, they said. Tomas Cesareo and Lionel Z. Funeral services are on Friday, May 10 for Angel L. Alicea Jr. of Bridgeton who died on May 1, according to an obituary published by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home. A 67-year-old South Jersey man has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison for sexually assaulting four children under the age of 13, authorities said. On Monday, May 6, Andy Chanza, of Newfield was sentenced in connection with the sex attacks which took place over a period of 29 years in Vineland, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Driver Charged With DWI After 3-Car Crash In South Jersey: Police
A 38-year-old man from Millville was charged with driving while intoxicated after a three-vehicle crash in Vineland, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at South Delsea Drive and West Sherman Avenue, according to Vineland police. In addition to DWI, Gibrant Espinosa was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, uninsured motorist, endangering the welfare of a child, and assault by auto, police said. A 29-year-old mother and therapist killed in a New Jersey crash earlier this month is being remembered by her sorority sisters.
