The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. on Monday, July 29 southbound south of Exit 131 in Woodbridge Township, according to the NJDOT. Two right lanes were blocked, 511nj.org reported. Six People Injured In Seven-Vehicle Crash In Central Jersey Six people were injured in a crash on a busy road in Monmouth County, authorities said. Holmdel police responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 35 and Laurel Avenue at around 1:17 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, the department said in a news release. Officers found seven vehicles involved with one vehicle smoking, as well as large amounts of oil and gas leaking into the road. Tractor-Trailer Becomes Fully Engulfed In Flames On NJ Turnpike (Updated) A tractor-trailer caught fire on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County, authorities said. New Jersey State Police responded at 4:11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 to a vehicle fire on the New Jersey Turnpike south outers, milepost 53.7 in Bordentown Township, according to spokesman Trooper Troy McNair. Upon troopers' arrival, a Wabash tractor-trailer was found fully engulfed in flames, McNair said.  There were no injuries reported and the cause remains under investigation, he said. The right shoulder remained blocked as of 11 a.m., 511nj.org reported.

Driver Killed In Fiery I-295 South Jersey Crash: State Police A driver was killed after his car caught fire on Interstate 295 in Salem County, authorities said.  The crash occurred at 10:29 p.m. on Sunday, April 24 southbound near milepost 5.6 in Carneys Point Township, according to State Police. A black Honda left the roadway and struck a tree, police said. The Honda became engulfed in flames and the driver sustained fatal injuries, police said. No one else was in the car. The driver's identity had not been determined as of Monday morning.
