A Maple Shade School District employee was killed in a tragic accident after being hit by another school bus at the district's bus depot, authorities announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The fatal crash happened at Maple Shade High School when a bus driver stepped outside of his vehicle and was struck by another school bus, sustaining fatal injuries, according to Maple Shade police. Tanker Truck Overturns On I-295 Curve In Camden County
Good Samaritans stopped to help a tanker truck that overturned on I-295 North in Bellmawr on Saturday, Jan. 25. One driver called 9-1-1 just after 12:40 p.m., when the driver lost control while navigating a curve at milepost 27, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn, according to New Jersey State Police and Daily Voice sources. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, authorities said. The crash is under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.

Man, 75, Standing By Disabled SUV Killed In South Jersey Crash: Troopers
A Buena man was struck by a pickup and killed while standing next to his disabled SUV in Deerfield Township, authorities said. Marvin Saunders, 75, died in the crash on Thursday, Dec. 19, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on Big Oak Road at approximately 6:35 p.m. Investigators said Saunders stood next to his disabled Nissan Pathfinder, which was in the eastbound lane. One person was hospitalized in an early-morning crash in Camden County Wednesday, Sept. 25, firefighters said. The Lawnside Fire Department responded to the crash, along with Magnolia Fire Co.
