Man Shot Dead On Trenton Sidewalk
Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed on a Trenton sidewalk Friday morning, Nov. 24. It happened on the first block of Oliver Avenue around 6:30 p.m. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting homicide. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Camden Teenager Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Man, Wounding Woman: Prosecutor
A Camden teenager has been arrested and charged for fatally shooting a man and wounding a woman last month, authorities said. Avonte Muse, 19, was charged with killing Akeem Jenkins, 33, and wounding a 32-year-old woman, both from Camden, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Muse was charged with first-degree murder and second-degree aggravated assault, they said. A 14-year-old was wounded in the first of two shootings in Paterson just hours apart, authorities said. A 30-year-old man from Atlantic City was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison for assault and weapons offenses, authorities said. A car fire on a New Jersey roadway has been linked to the shooting of two Philadelphia police officers that left one dead on Thursday evening, Oct. 12, authorities said.
