Fatal Crash Reported On Jersey Shore: Police A motorist was killed in a crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Route 18 southbound in Marlboro Township, police said. Route 18 South in the area of Tennent Road and Route 520 was shut down until about 10 a.m., according to Capt. Stephen Levy, a police department spokesman. The vehicle, a 2008 grey Honda Accord,  left the roadway and struck a large tree, Levy said. Firefighters Douse Jersey Shore House Fire Firefighters quickly extinguished a blaze at a Central Jersey home, authorities said. The fire broke out at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Sarah Court, according to Marlboro Township police. The fire was contained to the home's garage, and is suspected to be electrical in origin, police said. All of the family members were safely out of the residence when police arrived. At approximately 11:22 a.m. Friday, Marlboro police received a call from the mother residing at 20 Silvers Road in Marlboro who said she was involved in an argument with her daughter, and her daughter had left the house. The daughter was identified as Cynthia Lopez. She is 5-foot 1-inch tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown hair, police said.  She was last seen wearing a white and grey top, pink shorts and possibly light pink flip flops. Dogs Missing, Police Officer Hurt From Monmouth House Fire Two dogs remain missing from a home that suffered a serious fire on Thursday, authorities said. Police and fire officials have been unable to locate the family dogs -- either dead or alive. At 11:05 a.m., Marlboro Township Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from the homeowner at 33 Regina Road in the Morganville section of Marlboro, according to Capt. Stephen J. Levy, a police department spokesman. The fire spread from the garage to a portion of the residence, Levy said.
