Princeton Motorcyclist Crashes Into Moose, Dies On I-95 In Maine: Troopers
A Princeton man was killed when his motorcycle struck a moose on Interstate 95 in northern Maine, authorities said. Anand Sreedharan, 50, died in the crash on Monday, Sept. 30, Maine State Police said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 2. It happened on I-95 South near milepost 240 in an unincorporated area about five miles south of the town of Medway. Investigators said the moose crossed into Sreedharan's lane and was hit by the motorcycle. Sreedharan was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. FBI Helps Catch Woman Wanted In Princeton Armed Bank Robbery, Police Say
A Skillman woman was accused of robbing a bank in Princeton about two months ago, authorities said. Ciara Brascom, 37, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 26, the Princeton Police Department said in a news release. She was wanted in an armed robbery at TD Bank. Officers responded to a panic alarm at the State Road bank on Sunday, July 28. A teller then called 911 to report the robbery in progress. Twenty-five landlords are facing fines after state officials said they violated state laws by considering potential tenants' criminal histories. According to NJ Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division on Civil Rights (DCR), the notices of violation allege that the housing providers violated the law by, among other things, asking criminal history-related questions on housing applications that are prohibited by the law. A woman was attacked by a man inside a library at Princeton University, authorities said. The attack happened inside the Lewis Science Library at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, the university's Department of Public Safety said in a campus alert.
