Two Atlantic City men were shot in broad daylight and police are looking for tips on why. On Friday, May 13, at 9:31 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Caspian Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Responding officers arrived and found evidence of gunfire at Pennsylvania Avenue and Absecon Boulevard, but no victim. Moments later, officers were alerted that two male shooting victims, 31 and 30 of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Bucks Driver Busted With Meth In Routine Traffic Stop, Police Say
A Bucks County man was busted with methamphetamine in a routine traffic stop, police said. William Sweeney, 50, was pulled over for a traffic violation near Pennsylvania Avenue and Street Road when around 9:10 p.m. on May 4, Upper Southampton Township Police Department said. An officer made contact with Sweeney, who seemed hunched towards the steering wheel, police said. Twitter removed tweets from President Donald Trump's account and locked it after he condoned violence at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Then Facebook followed suit.
