Road Rage Driver Gets Year In Prison For Crash That Killed Jersey Shore Newlywed
A 21-year-old Ocean County man was sentenced to prison for a 2021 road rage crash that killed another driver just weeks after his wedding. Avrohom Pam was 18 years old when he struck Brick Township's Sean Avon head-on, during a road rage incident involving a different driver in June 2021 in Lakewood, Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer has said. New Wawa Store Opens On Jersey Shore
There's a new Wawa store coming to the Jersey Shore. Thursday marks the grand opening of the sixth Wawa store in Brick. To recognize Veterans Day, all retired veterans will be treated to free coffee and coffee toast. The new store, with gas pumps, is located at 1902 Route 88. A teenager from Asbury Park was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for his role in a shooting outside an Ocean County high school, authorities said. Alonzo Legrande, who is now 18, pleaded guilty in September to aggravated assault and weapons charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. A swimmer whose body was pulled from a Jersey Shore beach Wednesday died, authorities said Thursday. Three Point Pleasant police officers responding to reports of a swimmer in distress pulled the victim from the water on Jenkinson's Beach at Arnold Avenue around 11:40 a.m., Police Chief Joseph A. A pair of Brick Township police officers breaking up a wild house party and street revelers were struck by a vehicle -- sending one of the officers to the hospital, authorities said. Brick PD: 38-Year-Old Woman Stabs Neighbors
A 38-year-old woman stabbed two of her neighbors, authorities said. Candace Haynes of Brick cut the women with a knife and is charged with assault, Brick police said in a press statement on Tuesday. Police responded to 195 Sawmill Road about 2:30 a.m. on April 12 on a report of a fight involving three neighbors. The first victim sustained a stab wound to her neck and the second victim sustained a cut to her forearm, police said.
