12 Charged In Massive Narcotics Bust At Mercer County Budget Inn, Police Say
A dozen suspects were arrested and slapped with drug charges following a massive narcotics bust at a Mercer County Budget Inn hotel, authorities said Wednesday. More than 100 doses of crack and heroin, as well as $1,700 in suspected drug proceeds, were found during a search of several rooms at the Budget Inn Hotel on New York Avenue in Trenton around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Trenton Police Director (TPD) Steve E. Trenton Man Critically Wounded In Shooting
An unidentified victim was shot multiple times in Trenton on Wednesday morning, authorities said. Trenton police responded to a report of shots fired about 11:30 a.m. near Olden and New York Avenues While officers were at the scene of the shooting, they were notified that a victim had arrived at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle. The victim had been struck by gunfire and was listed in critical condition according to a Trenton police spokesman. Homes and businesses across New Jersey and Pennsylvania were destroyed following a quick-hitting storm that ripped across the area Sunday evening. "Several wind damage reports were received and focused mainly along the I-95 corridor, including some measured wind gusts in the 60 to 70 mph range," the National Weather Service said. Streets around the America's Best Value Inn near Route 35 in Neptune was fully evacuated with several surrounded streets closed due to downed poles, wires and extensive debris.
