Guanglie Zhang, 74, died after the Monday, Sept. 9 crash, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Marlboro police responded to School Road East near Buckley Road at around 9:43 a.m. Investigators said Zhang was crossing School Road East from the Henry Hudson Trail on a Class 1 e-bike when the collision happened. Woman Killed In Route 9 Crash On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor A woman was killed in a crash along Route 9 in Marlboro Township, authorities said. On Sun. Feb. 13 at 2:22 a.m., a 2019 Cadillac XT5 traveling southbound on Route 9, collided with a 2018 Nissan Altima at the intersection on the southbound side of Route 9 and Route 520, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. The Altima then proceeded to strike a nearby telephone pole, Linskey said. Fatal Crash Reported On Jersey Shore: Police A motorist was killed in a crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Route 18 southbound in Marlboro Township, police said. Route 18 South in the area of Tennent Road and Route 520 was shut down until about 10 a.m., according to Capt. Stephen Levy, a police department spokesman. The fire broke out at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday at 4 Sarah Court, according to Marlboro Township police.
