A crazed driver repeatedly rammed a Hackensack police vehicle before the officer inside hopped out and subdued him on Thursday, authorities confirmed. Officer Panagiotis Seretis was responding to assist another officer with his emergency lights and sirens activated near the corner of Main and Salem streets around 10:30 a.m. Feb. 16 when he signaled Yves Davilmar Jr. to pull his Ford Explorer over and let him by, Capt. UPDATE: An underage teenager who robbed a man at gunpoint on a Hackensack street this past weekend was also the shooter who wounded a customer at a city liquor store late last month, authorities said. Driver Hospitalized After Sedan Slams Into Utility Pole In Hackensack
A driver was hospitalized after a sedan bounced off a parked car and slammed into a utility pole Friday afternoon in Hackensack. A Cliffside Park man was injured in a freak accident Monday at a Hackensack law firm, authorities said. A private company bucket loader was doing sewer work and backed into a decorative light post, knocking it into a window at Harwood Lloyd LLC on Main Street, responders said.
