Police in Bucks County are pressing charges against a Philadelphia woman who they say snatched a wallet from a diner at a Feasterville restaurant. Diane Doughty, 32, of Philadelphia, is wanted for felony identity theft, said Lower Southampton police in a release. Investigators believe Doughty swiped the wallet from a customer at an eatery on the 100 block of East Street Road on Feb. 13. Wawa convenience stores in Bucks County are reducing their night time hours and two Philadelphia stores have closed in response to a perceived increase in crime, multiple outlets report. The Wawa locations in Northampton and Lower Southampton will no longer be open from midnight to 5 a.m., a representative for the chain said, according to reports. A burglar from New Jersey tried to avoid capture by convincing a Pennsylvania homeowner that he was a plumber, authorities in Bucks County said. Lawrence Bimbo, 28, entered the Clover Lane home through an unlocked door in late July and walked inside the house even after being confronted by the owner, Lower Southampton police said. A quiet neighborhood in suburban Philadelphia was shaken after a Lyft driver was carjacked last week, news reports say. The driver was getting off work when two men approached him in his Bowman Driver driveway, and took his wallet, phone and car keys at gunpoint around 3:15 a.m. in Lower Southampton, 6abc and CBS report. Police in Bucks County are circulating surveillance photos of people breaking into vehicles. The individuals shown above entered unlocked vehicles on Tuesday night along Hazel, Hickory, and Woodbine avenues, according to Lower Southampton police.
