A Bridgeton man has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Georgia and charged with aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide in the fiery crash that killed there people on Route 1 in South Brunswick in April, authorities said. The tractor-trailer driver, Joseph Vega, 43, of Bridgeton, was transporting an oversized concrete load when it failed to stop for a red light at the intersection resulting in the fatal collision, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka. A 62-year-old Somerset County man has been arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. George Wohar, Jr., of North Plainfield, became the center of an investigation following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Authorities have identified a Keansburg man shot and killed by police while wielding a chainsaw, along with the officers involved in the Memorial Day incident. Willem Roman, 46, died from his injuries on Friday, June 14. Attorney General Matt Platkin announced his death in a news release on Monday, July 1. Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the murder of Caryn Fortino. Fortino, 38, was found dead in a wooded area off of Interstate 81 in Delano Township on May 23, 2003.
