Atlantic City Man Sentenced For Assault, Firearms Offenses: Prosecutor
A 28-year-old Atlantic City man was sentenced to fight years in New Jersey State Prison on assault and firearms charges, authorities said. Kareem Rex was sentenced on two indictments to charges of second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons. Rex’s co-defendant, Kareem Lamb, age 16, also of Atlantic City, NJ, pleaded guilty and was sentenced as an adult on Aug. 1 on charges of aggravated assault and pointing a firearm at another person.
