The death meant charges were upgraded against Julio Morales-Amilcar, 24, of Bridgeton, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. On Aug. 12, Bridgeton Police Officers were dispatched to a location on Myrtle Street for the report of an assault. Cumberland County Man Critical After Assault: Police A 25-year-old man has been arrested for an assault that left the victim in critical condition in Cumberland County, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug. 12 at 11:36 p.m., Bridgeton police officers were dispatched to Myrtle Street for an assault. Police found an unconscious 35-year-old Bridgeton man being treated by Bridgeton Fire/EMS.  A short time later ER Staff contacted police and advised that the victim was in critical condition with a serious head injury.
