More than 70 New Jersey stations will be offering fuel at a discounted rate to show drivers just that on Friday, May 13. The initiative promoting self-serving fueling was launched by Fuel Your Way NJ, a coalition that advocates for self-serve gas stations that still offer full service. Search Launched For Endangered Hunterdon County Man A search has been launched for a Hunterdon County man who police say may be endangered. Joseph Russo, 50, of Flemington, was last seen near Robin Hill Road in Hampton Borough around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, New Jersey State Police said. He is described as a white male, 5’ 11” tall, and approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen driving a red 2002 Dodge Stratus with New Jersey license plates HX1037. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police Washington Station Detective Bureau at (908) 689-3101. Anonymous tips are welcome.

Pedestrian Airlifted After Being Struck By Car In Hunterdon County: Police A pedestrian was airlifted with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The pedestrian, whose ID was not released, was struck on Case Boulevard in Flemington around 5:25 p.m. Friday, Raritan Township police said in a release. The victim was airlifted via Northstar to Robert Woods Johnson University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The accident remained under investigation by the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police: 2 Charged With Selling Heroin, Crack Cocaine In Hunterdon County Two people have been accused of selling heroin and crack cocaine in Hunterdon County, authorities said Wednesday. Gabriella Finazzo of Frenchtown and Rahshad K. Wells of Trenton were arrested August 28, Flemington Borough Police said. Finazzo and Wells were charged with distribution of narcotics and possession of heroin and crack cocaine. Both were held at the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department and transported to the Warren County Jail. The investigation was conducted by the Flemington Borough Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force.

Flash flooding is possible in counties along the Delaware River, the National Weather Service reports. The rain is expected late Wednesday into Thursday morning, when the storm will make its way toward New England.
