Michael Allen Stark, 49, of Royersford, is believed to have kidnapped Matthew James Branning, after a shift at his Silverdale job in October 2021, took him to withdraw money at an ATM and then fled in Brannging's car to New Jersey, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said. Passenger Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash A passenger was killed when the vehicle she was traveling in crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The SUV was traveling south near milepost 18.5 in West Deptford Township at about 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, when it left the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail, according to New Jersey State Police. A passenger in the vehicle, Kayla Rodriguez, 26, of Falls Church, VA, died of her injuries, State Police said. Authorities did not say if the driver, a 30-year-old Falls Church man, or a young passenger were hurt. The crash remains under investigation.

VA Passenger Dies In NJ Turnpike Crash: Police A 26-year-old woman from Virginia died in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday, Sept. 18, authorities said. Kayla Rodriguez was riding in a Ford Explorer traveling southbound near milepost 18.5 in West Deptford when the SUV failed to stay in its lane, left the road, and struck a guardrail around 3:50 a.m., NJ State Police said. The Falls Church woman was pronounced dead after the crash. The status of the driver's injuries was not immediately provided by the police. The investigation remains ongoing.
