Winners: Trio Of $50K Powerball Tickets Sold In NJ
Three New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn on Christmas, officials said.
That match was good enough to win a $50,000 third-tier prize.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Camden County: Warwick Wines & Spirits, 600 S. Warwick Rd., Suite 7, HiNella;
Essex County: Belleville Liquors, 736 Belleville Avenue., Belleville; and

NJ Ring That Dealt Fentanyl, Crack Smashed By Federal, County, Local Crime-Fighting Team
Eleven accused members of a drug ring that authorities said openly peddled crack and potentially fatal fentanyl in a Newark neighborhood were charged federally on Wednesday.
The ring's "primary supplier," Frazier Burton, 46, was caught with 100 bricks of heroin and fentanyl when tactical officers arrested him Wednesday morning, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
At 50 bags per brick, that's 5,000 individual packages -- all of which Honig said carried the neighborhood drug network's particular stamps.

NJ Mega Millions Players Take Home Combined $30K
There were two lucky Mega Millions players in New Jersey.
The third-tier prizewinning tickets combined to win $30,000, state Lottery officials said.
Both winners from Tuesday's drawing matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball to win the $10,000 prize. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $20,000.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 7, drawing were: 01, 07, 40, 43, and 68. The Gold Mega Ball was 01, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

A New Jersey Lottery ticket winning nearly $1.2 million was sold in North Jersey.
The Jersey Cash 5 ticket from the Tuesday, Nov. 23 drawing was sold at White Oak Liquors, 418 Union Ave., Belleville in Essex County.
The winning numbers were: 09, 14, 17, 28, and 29 and the XTRA number was: 04.
The ticket was worth $1,253,763 and the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.

A pedestrian who suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was struck by a commuter bus in Essex County reportedly has received a $2 million settlement.
Kiliek Anthony, now 31, was knocked an estimated 15 feet when he was struck by a New Jersey Transit bus as he crossed Chancellor Avenue in Irvington on Dec. 1, 2015 around 6 a.m., police reports show.
