East Windsor Fire Destroys 24 Condos Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive.  The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure. Mercer County Man Arrested In Dad’s Fatal Beating: Prosecutor A 23-year-old man from East Windsor has been arrested in the fatal beating of his father, authorities said. Yu Chavarria, 23, was charged with second-degree manslaughter, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri East Windsor police responded to a residence on Twin Rivers Drive North at approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, for an unconscious male, Onofri said.  Police found 58-year-old Edgar Chavarria on the kitchen floor bleeding from his head and face, Onofri said.
