South Jersey Man Stabbed In Chest, Suspect Arrested: Police A 25-year-old man from Bridgeton has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left another man in critical condition, authorities said. Shortly after midnight on Friday, Sept. 15, Bridgeton police were dispatched to a unit block on Walnut Street for a stabbing.  Police found the victim, a 54-year-old Bridgeton resident, with a stab wound to his chest. The victim was airlifted to Cooper Medical Center for treatment and was listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
