South Jersey HS Freshman In Fight For Life After Pedestrian Crash, Officials Say A 14-year-old Gloucester City High School freshman is fighting for her life after a pedestrian crash, school officials said. Kayla Galvez of Brooklawn was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle crossing Route 130 on Dec. 29, 2023.  "Kayla continues to fight with her condition listed as 'stable but critical.'
