Motorcycle Crash Victim, 23, ID'd By Police In South Jersey
Police have identified the Salem County motorcyclist killed when he collided with a school bus earlier this month. Joel Morales, 23, of Carneys Point Township, was riding north on Route 130 at about 2 p.m. on Feb. 1 when he collided with a bus pulling out of Ross Enterprises, near Washington Avenue, according to Carneys Point Police Detective Joseph Racite. Morales was pronounced dead at the scene, Racite said. There were no students aboard the bus at the time, Racite said. The bus driver was not injured, he said. A Pennsylvania mom who secretly moved to New Jersey and left her child behind has been arrested and has a whole new look, based on information shared with Daily Voice by the prison warden on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Tiffani Chanel Bogroff, 45, who was last known to live at 900 block of North President Avenue in Lancaster, PA, had moved to NJ over a month ago, leaving her child in the home alone in poor conditions, Manheim Township police explained in the initial release on Friday, Jan. 26. The hit-and-run death of a 27-year-old pedestrian on Thanksgiving night in South Jersey has left those who knew him heartbroken. Bryan Rodriguez Lagunas, of Woolwich, was lying in the roadway on Route 130 near Pine Street when he was struck by a car at about 2 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, according to Carneys Point Police Detective Joseph Racite. Pickup Driver Killed In South Jersey Crash
A motorist was killed when two pickup trucks collided in Salem County, authorities said. The driver's name had not been released. On Sunday, Feb. 26, at 8:24 p.m., Carneys Point police and Carneys Point Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a serious motor vehicle crash on North Golfwood Avenue. Armed Juveniles Stealing Cars, Robbing Gas Stations In South Jersey, Police Warn
A group of juveniles from Wilmington, DE have carried out multiple robberies across Salem County, authorities warn. Heightened criminal activity has been reported within the Carneys Point, Penns Grove, Deepwater, and Pennsville areas, police said on Facebook.
