Police ID Camden Man Killed In Route 676 Crash
A 45-year-old Camden man was killed in a single car crash on Route 676 on the early morning of Wednesday, Feb. 19, authorities said. At 1:51 a.m., officers responded to Route 676 southbound in Camden after a Ford Fusion driven by George Stewart II, lost directional control and subsequently collided with the guide rail, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, Stewart sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 8:27 p.m., a BMW sedan driven by Trevon Johnson was traveling westbound on County Road 645 when it veered off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. A 30-year-old Pennsylvania man died in a fiery crash on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend. The unnamed Huntingdon Valley man was behind the wheel of a Volvo bobtail heading south on the Turnpike in Bordentown when it collided with a Volvo semi-trailer around 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. The Volvo bobtail traveled off the road, collided with the sound barrier, and became engulfed in flames. As a result of the crash, the driver died. There were no other injuries reported.
