A 66-year-old driver struck and seriously injured a 14-year-old bicyclist in a Mercer County town over the weekend, police said. The East Windsor driver was operating a 2013 Toyota Tacoma when he struck the bicyclist, who was crossing Twin Rivers Drive north around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, EWPD Lt. Thomas Meyer said. Police Detective Hospitalized After Rescuing Dog From Mercer County House Fire
A police detective was hospitalized after rescuing a dog from a house fire in Mercer County, authorities said. Officers responding to 109 Browning Ave. in Ewing saw smoke billowing from the home around 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, the Ewing Police Department said. Police ID Teenager Killed In Fiery Mercer County Crash
Police have identified a teenager killed on Sunday in a fiery crash in Mercer County. Rashawn Young, 19, of Hamilton was driving west on Route 133 when his BMW slid down an embankment, East Windsor police said. Young’s BMW struck a tree and burst into flames about 5:40 p.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Motorist Killed In Mercer County Crash
Authorities are investigating a crash in which one person was killed in Mercer County. At about 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, East Windsor police were called on a report of a collision near Route 133 and 1 Mile Road. Firefighters from East Windsor and Hightstown responded along with members of the East Windsor First Aid & Rescue Squad and Capital Health Paramedics.
