Horrifying Details Released In Wildwood Child Abuse Case: 'I Don't Play These Games'
Horrifying new details have come to light in a Wildwood child abuse case in police paperwork obtained by Daily Voice. Calvin Crawley Sr., 33, who was arrested on Monday, Jan. 15, on accusations, after an 11-year-old boy told his mom that he hit him with a black leather belt "15 to 20 times" after the boy argued with his younger brother, according to the affidavit for probable cause. Police ID Homeowner Killed In South Jersey Fire
Authorities have identified the Cape May County resident killed in a house fire. Joanne Nessen died of possible asphyxia from the fire at her home in North Wildwood, NJ on Thursday, July 6, according to Cape May County Prosecutor, Jeffrey H. Sutherland and North Wildwood Police Chief John Stevenson. Beach Patrol Member Indicted For Sexual Assault In Cape May County: Prosecutor
A grand jury has indicted a former member of the Ocean City Beach Patrol for sexual assault, authorities said. Jonathan C. Howell, 41, of Marmora, was indicted for aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, official misconduct and child endangerment, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Another H2oi Arrest Made With More Possibly On The Way
Yet another arrest has been made in the deadly H2oi meetup held last month in Wildwood and authorities say more could be on the way. Zion Diaz, of Hammonton, told others to block intersections, perform "burnouts" and block police vehicles from responding to emergency calls the night of Sept. 24, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Ocean City Officer Who Placed Tracking Device On Vehicle Charged With Stalking: Prosecutor
An Ocean City police officer has been charged with stalking after he was caught placing a tracking device on a vehicle, authorities said. Jacob M. Harris, 32, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested on Thursday, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief of Detectives Paul Skill. On Wednesday, Lower Township police were called to a residence for a report of a tracking device found on a vehicle. Victims Suffer Smoke Inhalation In Cape May Fire: FD
Two people suffered from smoke inhalation in Cape May County. At about noon Wednesday, North Wildwood firefighters responded to a structure fire at 217 E. 24th Ave. in North Wildwood, according to Fire Chief Dominick J. McClain. Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home and reports of an occupant inside on oxygen, McClain said.
