Schools Locked Down After Gun Spotted In South Jersey Reports of a person with a gun prompted a lockdown of schools in Gloucester Township, police said. On Friday, Jan. 27, at approximately 1:53 pm, Gloucester Township Police responded to Autumn Ridge Apartments in the Blackwood section of town for the report of an argument where it was reported that one subject was believed to be armed with a handgun. Firefighters Battle Blaze At Gloucester Home Officials are investigating after a Gloucester Township home caught fire in the evening hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.  Firefighters were called to a property on Locust Drive in the township's Blackwood section at about 5:45 p.m. for a reported house fire, said police in a statement.  On arrival, first responders saw smoke and flames at the house's rear.
