Big Lots, the popular discount retailer, is officially going out of business. The company, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September, has announced plans to close all 963 of its remaining stores nationwide, including 18 locations in New Jersey. South Jersey Man Admits Fatal Shooting Of Teen In Shopping Center Parking Lot: Prosecutor
A 22-year-old man from Burlington County has admitted to fatally shooting a teenager in a shopping center parking lot, authorities said. Knowah Crowderparham of Beverly pleaded guilty to the shooting in Willingboro on Wednesday, Oct. 18, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw. The investigation began on Feb. 11, 2022, when officers from the Willingboro Township Police Department were called to the Kennedy Plaza in the 400 block of John F. Man Charged In South Jersey Standoff: Prosecutor
A 27-year-old man from Burlington Township has been charged with kidnapping and weapons offenses in connection with a standoff with police and SWAT teams, authorities said. No charges have been filed in connection with the earlier murder of a 34-year-old man from Highland Park, Middlesex County, at the same home in Beverly. A serious rush-hour crash, with multiple injuries, occurred in Burlington County, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 29 on the 4100 block of Route 130 in Beverly, initial reports said. NJ Man Hit With New Charge, 4 Neighbors Arrested In Viral Bias Intimidation Incident
The Mount Laurel man arrested in July for bias intimidation of his neighbors and other crimes has been charged with leaving a threatening note on one of his victim’s cars earlier this year, and also vandalizing the victim’s vehicle, authorities said. South Jersey Man, 32, Fatally Shot
A 32-year-old man from Burlington County was fatally shot late Friday, authorities said. Beverly police officers were called to the Delacove Homes public complex about 10:15 p.m. on a report of a shooting, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Beverly City Public Safety Director Rich Wolbert. Patrol officers found a bystander performing CPR on Octavius Williams, who had been shot in the chest by gunfire, Coffina and Wolbert said.
