AGT Judges Slam NJ's Sharpe Family Over Classic Rock Audition (Video)
Somerset County’s Sharpe Family Singers took to the "America’s Got Talent" stage once again on Tuesday, Aug. 29, hoping to wow viewers with their rendition of Kansas’ rock hit "Carry On Wayward Son."

A New Jersey family is making the move from TikTok to television with their audition on Tuesday, June 27’s episode of 'America’s Got Talent.'
Hailing from Basking Ridge, the Sharpe Family Singers — Barbra Russell-Sharpe, her husband Ron Sharpe, and their four children, Samantha, Logan, Aidan, and Connor, blew the judges away with their soulful cover of “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s Moana.
“It’s never quiet in our house,” reads the family’s bio on TikTok, where they’ve amassed an astonishing 8.5 million followers.

Man Killed By Train In Somerset County Was Sports Editor, 'Family Man'
A man struck and killed by a train over the weekend in Somerset County worked as a sports editor for years, according to his social media pages.
Stanislaw "Stan" Chrapowicki, 53, of Bernardsville, was struck by NJ Transit's Morris & Essex line train on Saturday, Feb. 26, NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said.
Chrapowicki was struck on the Gladstone Branch by train 732 around 1:45 p.m. in Basking Ridge, Merrill said.
According to his LinkedIn page, Chrapowicki was a deputy editor at Yardbarker.com, a sports news website.
He previously spent time working at CBS Sports…
Winner: Powerball Ticket Good For $50K Sold In Somerset County
A Powerball ticket winning the third-tier prize of $50,000 was sold in Somerset County.
The New Jersey Lottery ticket from the Wednesday, Dec. 30 drawing was sold at Krauszer’s Convenience in Basking Ridge.
The winning numbers were: 03, 43, 45, 61, and 65. The Red Power Ball number was 14. The Multiplier number was 02.
More than 48,740 New Jersey players took home an estimated $240,951 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $384,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Jan. 2, at 10:59 p.m.
