Man, 30, Wounded In Atlantic City Shooting: Police
A 30-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, at 8:30 p.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
Responding officers found a man that was shot and evidence of gunfire, police said.
The unidentified victim, of Atlantic City, was taken by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment.

13-Year-Old Arrested In Double Shooting In Atlantic City: Police
A 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a double shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Tuesday, July 12, at 12:57 p.m., police responded to a shooting and a ShotSpotter alert near the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Police found a crime scene and evidence of gunfire but initially did not locate a victim. Moments later, officers were alerted that two male shooting victims, 30 and 34, both of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of injuries that are considered non-life-threatening.

Two men were arrested and drugs seized in an Atlantic City traffic stop, authorities said.
On Wednesday, May 18, at approximately 9 p.m., detectives from the Atlantic City Police Department’s Special Investigations Section attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue. They observed a wanted fugitive in the rear seat of the vehicle, Atlantic City police said.

A New York man accused of sexually assaulting a housekeeper at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City has been convicted, authorities said.
On Thursday, March 31, a jury found Jamel Carlton, 36, of Saugerties, NY, guilty of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, burglary, aggravated assault and criminal restraint, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Carlton was arrested twice on Feb. 15, 2018, in separate assaults at the hotel, authorities said.
