Hearts Break Following Murder Of Mercer County's De Haven Rogers
Shock and sadness spread following the shooting death of a Mercer County man. De Haven Rogers, formerly of Hamilton, was found suffering a gunshot wound in the front yard of a Sussex Street home in Ewing on Wednesday afternoon, April 26, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. His believed killer, Amir Williams, 35, was in the front window of the home, Onofri said. He was later arrested and charged with murder and related offenses. US Marshals Nab Trenton Gunman Who Killed Innocent Bystander: Authorities
A 34-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in connection with a shooting that left an innocent bystander dead, authorities said. Rasheed Funderburg had been fighting with a younger male on the 330 block of Rutherford Avenue on Friday, April 14, when the younger male fled, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. A Camden teenager has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in the city last weekend, authorities said. Nykwan Taylor, 18, was charged on Thursday, March 30, with first-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Daijohn Spaulding of Camden, they said.
