A South Jersey man who graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work in TV journalism in Pennsylvania and Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced. Cleve W. Bryan Jr. was charged Wednesday, Oct. 18 by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said. A member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips gang admitted his role in planning a murder and robbing a victim at gunpoint, federal authorities said. An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day. Atlantic City Trio Arrested On Drug, Weapons Charges: Police
Three men were arrested after Atlantic City detectives observed them engaged in a drug deal, authorities said. On Thursday Aug. 17, at 3:48 p.m., Detectives Eric Evans and Christopher Dodson were conducting surveillance in the area of the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenues. A teenager has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Camden, authorities said. Billy Corbitt, 18, of Camden, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Bryan Roberts of Trenton, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. The suspect in the killing of his grandmother allegedly struck her with a heavy object, authorities said. Cyril Lloyd, 26, of Carteret. was charged with murdering the 77-year-old woman, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. A 34-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in connection with a shooting that left an innocent bystander dead, authorities said. Rasheed Funderburg had been fighting with a younger male on the 330 block of Rutherford Avenue on Friday, April 14, when the younger male fled, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
