Flames Shoot From Roof Of Clifton Home A fire ripped through the roof of a Clifton home early Monday, Aug. 26. Photos from the scene show flames blowing through the roof of the Madeline Avenue house around 2 a.m. Clifton units operated at an early morning structure fire on the east side of the city, shortly after 2 AM. The fire was placed under control within 2 hours with the help of mutual aid from surrounding towns. Posted by Clifton Fire Department on Monday, August 26, 2024 Firefighters say the multi-alarm blaze was placed under control in under two hours with help from companies in surrounding towns.
