Clifton Student Made Bomb, Shooting, Death Threats That Were 'Highly Specific,' Police Say
A 17-year-old Clifton High School student has been arrested and charged with making multiple violent threats targeting students, staff, and the school itself, authorities said.
Detectives from the Clifton Police Juvenile Division arrested the teen male on Monday, Feb. 3, following an investigation into four reported incidents between Jan. 27 and Jan. 29, Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson said.
The threats, which included bomb threats, school shooting threats, and death threats, were sent electronically and were highly specific in nature, Anderson said.

The Clifton Police Department is mourning the passing of one of its own, Officer Joseph A. Pichnarcik.
Pichnarcik died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, following a brave fight against a long-term illness, according to his department and his obituary on the Allwood Funeral Home website.
Officer Pichnarcik, who served the Clifton community with pride and commitment since joining in 2006, was known for his warm spirit, reliability, and the unwavering support he offered his fellow officers.

Clifton is mourning the losses of a student and a school principal just days apart.
Juel Martinez, a Clifton High School student, died on Sunday, Oct. 6 after a nearly-year-long battle with cancer, a GoFundMe campaign launched for his family says. He was 15 years old.
On Monday, Oct. 7, School Two lost its dear principal Jennifer Lucas, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Her cause of death was not made public.
