An Edison man has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault after two women accused him of assaulting them following meetings arranged through Facebook, authorities said. A 42-year-old Rockaway woman was arrested and charged on Monday, Dec. 23 after leaving a child unattended, locked in a vehicle, authorities said. Officers responded to Wegmans at 34 Sylvan Way in Whippany and found the child locked in the vehicle, the Hanover Township Police Department said. The high that day was 27 degrees. Authorities have identified the victim of Sunday night, Jan. 5's fatal house fire in Glen Rock. Firefighters found 82-year-old Frederick Visser unconscious on the first floor of 15 Birchwood Road shortly after the 9:21 p.m. fire broke out, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
