6-Year-Old NJ Boy Dies: 'We Will Always Love You'
Abner Beau Estival Jiron Piedra, a 6-year-old Somerville boy, died on Sunday, May 3, according to his obituary from the Cusick Funeral Home.
Abner was a student at Van Derveer Elementary School. A GoFundMe was created for Abner's family in the wake of his passing.
"Abner was a charming, special boy, full of love for others," his uncle Manuel Jiron, who organized the campaign wrote. "Though he was only six years old, he left us with many memories that we will carry in our hearts forever. We will always love you, Abner."

Community Mourns Salem County Woman Struck, Killed By Car
Jaye Pollard, a 29-year-old Penns Grove woman, was killed after she was hit by a car on Wednesday, Dec. 10, according to a fundraiser set up to support her family.
At 6 p.m., police responded to North Virginia Avenue near East Main Street and found Pollard lying in the roadway, Jeffrey Barile, a spokesman with the Salem County Prosecutor's Office told NJ.com.
Pollard was transported to a nearby hospital in Delaware where she was pronounced dead, Barile said to NJ.com.

Michael Anthony Fisher, Jr., a Bordentown resident, died on Wednesday, Aug. 6, nine days before his 21st birthday on Aug. 15, after he was hit by someone making an illegal turn while he was riding his motorcycle home, his family said.
