Four men from Philadelphia were arrested in connection with a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Sunday, July 28, at about 4:30 a.m., Atlantic City police responded to the 2400 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a man shot. Police found a victim, 31, of Linwood, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. A 29-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in May, authorities said. Jozef Field is charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. A 29-year-old Trenton man has been arrested for attempted murder after setting his pit bull loose on a man before stabbing him, authorities said. The attack occurred on July 13 at about 10:20 a.m. at New Willow and Southard streets, according to Trenton police. A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death in Cumberland County, authorities said. Detectives from Bridgeton Police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the stabbing on the 100 block of Walnut Street in Bridgeton at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 28.
