Trespassing Swimmers Ages 23, 24 Drown In Camden County Lake, Police Say (Update)
Police have released additional information in this week's drownings in a Camden County lake.
Officers were called to Penbryn Wildlife Management area for two missing swimmers around 2:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons said.
A witness told police his two friends, ages 23 and 24, went swimming in the lake and did not resurface.
The Winslow Township Fire Department, Winslow Township EMS, the NJSP, Camden County LANSAR, Camden County Communications and OEM, Camden County Dive Team 3, and several surrounding Fire and EMS agencies responded.

Crash With Serious Injuries Closes I-295 In Camden County (Update)
A crash with serious injuries closed all lanes of Interstate 295 in Camden County, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 on the southbound ramp to Exit 26S in Bellmawr, according to NJDOT.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda was traveling southbound on I-295. In the area of milepost 27.3, the Honda ran off the roadway, impacted the concrete barrier, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said.
During the collision, the driver, Leonard Johanesen, 36, of Gloucester City, was ejected and sustained serious injuries, State Police said.
