Atlantic City's mayor and schools superintendent were indicted after being accused of physically and emotionally abusing the couple's teen daughter, authorities said. A 71-year-old man from Camden County was killed in a two-car collision in Upstate NY, authorities said. Timothy B. Willson, of Collingswood, died in the crash on Interstate 81 in Marathon, NY, at about 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, according to New York State Police. Pedestrian Killed In South Jersey Crash Didn't Use Crosswalk, Police Say
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in Mount Laurel, authorities said. A vehicle heading south on Route 73 hit the pedestrian between Clover Road and Rogers Walk at around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, Mount Laurel police said. The pedestrian wasn't identified as of Monday, Aug. 19. Investigators said the pedestrian didn't cross the road in a crosswalk. No other injuries were reported in the crash. There was an "active police investigation" Thursday morning, June 27 in Glassboro, authorities said. Their investigation was in the area of Route 322 West and Delsea Drive. Residents were asked to avoid the area at about 9 a.m. until the alert was lifted shortly before noon. "The area is now clear and open to travel, there is no active threat to the public.
