A woman was found dead on a bathroom floor after a violent assault inside a Dauphin County apartment, Susquehanna Township police announced on Monday, April 6.
Amanda Abeana Makor, 25, was discovered by officers responding to a report of an “unconscious female” at an apartment in the 300 block of North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, around 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, according to police.
She was lying on the bathroom floor and was cold to the touch when officers arrived, authorities said.

Woman Fatally Stabbed In Phillipsburg: Prosecutor
A 26-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in Phillipsburg the morning of Friday, May 16, authorities said.
At 3 a.m., officers were flagged down on the 400 block of Anderson Street where they found the woman with stab wounds, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. She was transported to St. Luke's Hospital where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The woman, who has not been identified and the alleged perpetrator, who was also not identified, were known to each other, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
