Three people fled on foot following a shooting in Phillipsburg on early Monday morning, June 30, authorities said. A 16-year-old girl was shot in Newark Friday afternoon, June 27 and is in critical condition, police said. The shooting happened around 5:25 p.m. on the 100 block of Huntington Terrace near Lehigh Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
