A tractor-trailer hauling M&M candy crashed on Route 80 in Warren County, spilling its cargo across the roadway, authorities said. At 10:17 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, Knowlton Township Fire & Rescue crews were dispatched to a two-tractor-trailer collision in the westbound lanes near the 2-mile marker, the department said. Tractor Trailer Leaks Fuel On Route 80 After Crashing Into Concrete Barrier:

A tractor trailer crashed into a concrete barrier on Route 80 on Wednesday morning, Aug. 20 in Warren County, authorities said. A Freightliner tractor trailer was traveling eastbound in Hardwick Township when the driver lost directional control, veered off the roadway to the right and struck a concrete barrier, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, approximately 50 to 100 gallons of fuel leaked onto the roadway, Marchan said. No injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

John DeFalco, a 71-year-old Rockaway resident, was killed in a fatal crash on Route 80 on Sunday, June 8, authorities said. At 9:18 a.m., a Kia Sportage driven by DeFalco was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills when it veered off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. Driver, 19, Killed In Route 80 Crash
A 19-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning Route 80 crash when he rear-ended a box truck stopped in the shoulder, authorities said. Cameron Ray, of Flanders, was heading west in a Subrau when he rear-ended the truck near milepost 38.2 in Denville around 5:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
