A Clifton police officer was struck by a vehicle while assisting a disabled car on Route 21 North on Wednesday, April 1, authorities said. The incident happened around 9:38 p.m. near Route 46, where traffic was already slowed due to the disabled vehicle, according to Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson said. Two merging vehicles collided at a relatively low speed, police said. Budd Lake Man Arrested Again For Disorderly Conduct: Mount Olive Police
A 33-year-old Budd Lake man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, July 15, with disorderly conduct for the second time in two months at a Mount Olive building, authorities said. At 3:24 p.m., Anthony Rondan was observed walking through a restricted parking area at the Mount Olive Township Municipal Building, Mount Olive police said. When Rondan was asked to leave, he became irate and threw a lacrosse ball at a window of the building, police said. Video shared to social media shows Paterson Councilman Luis Velez after an apparent car crash early Monday morning, May 12, and the other driver says he had been drinking. A 21-year-old man missing from Cedar Grove since last December has been identified after his body was recovered from the Passaic River last week, authorities said. Man Exposed Himself, Publicly Urinated Outside Urologist's Office: Denville PD
A 30-year-old Union man was arrested and charged for publicly urinating outside a urologists office in Denville on Friday, Aug. 2. Officers responded to Garden State Urology at 282 Route 46 on a report of a man who had exposed himself in front of the office and also urinated on the property, Denville police said in a release. During their investigation, police obtained surveillance footage, allowing them to identify the suspect, police said. A 30-year-old Allamuchy man was recently charged with trespassing after he returned to a Target on Route 46 after being ordered to leave, authorities said. The man, who was not identified by officers, had been following women around the Hackettstown Target and behaving in an inappropriate manner, Washington Township police said in a release.
